We are looking for a Production Leader to help drive the next stage of our growth.
The Role
This is a position responsible for managing workshop operations, leading production teams, supporting project delivery, and providing technical leadership through SolidWorks CAD.
You will act as the link between design and manufacture, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
This role combines leadership, engineering, and hands-on problem-solving and would suit someone who enjoys developing people, improving processes, and making a genuine impact within a growing business.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily workshop and production activities.
- Manage production schedules, resources, and workloads.
- Develop and support workshop personnel.
- Drive continuous improvement across production processes.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
- Act as the technical lead for SolidWorks CAD activities.
- Produce and review manufacturing drawings, assemblies, and technical documentation.
- Support engineering, prototype, and 3D printing projects.
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and operational performance.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong SolidWorks CAD experience.
- Mechanical engineering or manufacturing background.
- Experience creating manufacturing drawings and assemblies.
- Understanding of production and manufacturing processes.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
Desirable
- Production management or workshop leadership experience.
- Fabrication, engineering, or bespoke manufacturing experience.
- SolidWorks PDM knowledge.
- CNC, laser cutting, or 3D printing experience.
- Experience within specialist finishes, exhibitions, or architectural products.
