Rushcliffe is a contemporary, positive and award-winning Council and we’re looking for a creative Communications Officer to assist us for 18 months in raising our profile externally, enhancing our reputation and innovatively marketing our services, facilities and events.
Covering a broad range of the Council’s services, we’re seeking an experienced individual brimming with ideas. You will need to engage our staff and stakeholders internally and grab their attention with timely messages, content creation and eye-catching flair as the Council progresses through Local Government Reorganisation.
Focusing on external and internal communications, campaigns and reputation enhancing activities, you will be a keen and outgoing communicator who knows how to use traditional and emerging media channels to target audiences, engage residents and change behaviours with timely content.
You will also be able to demonstrate skills in video editing and graphics and a willingness to explore new ground for the Borough Council with the aim of increasing income and expanding our reputation and profile locally and nationally.
