We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our team in Wareham. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. WORKING DAYS ARE SATURDAY AND SUNDAY
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in restrooms, kitchens, offices, and public spaces
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or contamination
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure continuous cleanliness of facilities
- Adhere to company policies regarding hygiene standards and confidentiality
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable with a good work ethic and punctuality
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks which may involve standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
PLEASE NOTE START DATE IS THE 4th OF APRIL
Shift Pattern:
Saturday and Sunday
start time 17:00pm, finish time 19:00PM
