Job Title: Driver/General Labourer/Stores

Reporting To: Company Directors
Contract: Full Time, 40hours per week Monday to Friday from 08:00 to16:30
Duration: Permanent
Purpose & Objective of Position: To provide assistance to fabrication staff to aid the smooth running of various functions of our production department. To work efficiently and competently to ensure that tasks are completed to specified deadlines, alongside your work colleagues.
Job Content/Main Duties:
- Assisting with site work & installations as required
- Loading & unloading of vehicles both by hand and using a fork lift truck
- Receiving and checking stock deliveries and moving to appropriate storage areas
- Collections & deliveries to suppliers and customers and effectively deal with the public in a courteous & respectful manner
- Maintain a clean & safe working environment, to include sweeping floors, general tidying of workshop area and removing scrap metal to skips provided
- To work in accordance with instructions and approved codes of practice
- Assisting with the fabrication of all products. Typical fabrications include stainless steel catering equipment & associated products, thin gauge stainless steel canopies, galvanised steel ductwork and all general fabrications as required.
- Safe operation of plasma, band saw, circular saw, press brake, guillotine, punch, notcher, welding plants, hand & power tools, if required
- To work under own initiative and seek guidance if help is required
- Identify training needs to enable you to carry out your job role efficiently and safely
- Ensure job materials & equipment are correctly used
- Take responsibility for individual health & safety, as well as the health & safety of your colleagues
- Any other duties as required
- Will be required to work on Customer's sites, as required by the needs of the business
- CSCS CARD REQUIRED
- FORK LIFT TRUCK LICENCE REQUIRED
- FULL DRIVING LICENCE REQUIRED
