We are seeking a dedicated and energetic School Minibus Driver to ensure the safe and reliable transportation of students to and from school. Duties
- Safely operate the school minibus along designated routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels to ensure optimal condition
- Assist students in boarding and disembarking the vehicle safely, ensuring proper behavior during transit
- Report mechanical issues promptly to ensure vehicle reliability
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents or concerns during transportation
- Follow all safety protocols and driving regulations to guarantee a secure environment for all passengers
Qualifications
- Valid D1 driver’s license with a clean driving record suitable for commercial driving
- Some mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective interaction with students, staff, and parents
- Demonstrated ability to operate a minibus or similar vehicle safely and responsibly
- Prior experience in a school transportation setting is advantageous but not mandatory
