We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic barista/cafe assistant.
This is a PT position working at weekends. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in the smooth operation of our cafe.
Previous experience of working in a cafe, or food service environment is necessary
We would like it if you had;
- Barista skills (a must)
- A passion for food with an interest in cooking and a good understanding of food hygiene in accordance with EH guidelines.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A proven ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritise tasks.
- Flexibility to assist with kitchen and non-kitchen duties.
- Basic math skills when handling cash and customer transactions.
As we are located in the beautiful village of Alfriston, directly on the southdowns way, it is preferable if you have your own transport.
