The Role
We are currently looking at adding to a well established team of Mooring Assistants based in Stanlow/Tranmere. The role of a Mooring Assistant is to undertake and assist with mooring activities at Stanlow Oil Refinery on the Manchester Ship Canal.
Principal Responsibilities
- Mooring and unmooring of vessels of all sizes.
- Assisting with Connection / dis-connection of Tranmere Tankers
- Additional training and opportunities for maintenance work around site
- Oil spill response training and exercises
- Connecting and disconnecting loading arms, hoses and spool pieces
The Candidate
You will be self motivated and confident in your own ability to train and undertake responsibilities required, this is an ad-hoc zero hours contract so you must be flexible with working hours to assist with the operation when required.
