The Offline Marketing Manager plays a key role in planning, coordinating and delivering integrated marketing campaigns that promote Stonyhurst College and Stonyhurst St Mary's Hall to prospective families and other key audiences. Working collaboratively across the school, the post holder will lead the delivery of high-quality offline marketing activity, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, within budget and in line with strategic objectives.
Reporting to the Director of Admissions and Marketing, the post holder will support the development and implementation of the annual marketing plan through campaign planning, market research, competitor analysis and performance evaluation. Working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, the role provides day-to-day operational support across the marketing team, helping to coordinate departmental priorities, oversee campaign delivery and ensure continuity of marketing activity. The post holder will deputise for the Digital Marketing Manager during periods of absence.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
· Support the Director of Admissions and Marketing in delivering the school's marketing strategy and departmental objectives.
· Lead the planning, coordination, delivery and evaluation of offline marketing campaigns, ensuring activity is delivered on time, within budget and aligned with the school's strategic objectives.
· Provide operational oversight of offline marketing campaigns, coordinating the delivery of work across the marketing team to ensure multiple concurrent projects are delivered on time, to a high standard and in line with agreed priorities.
· Deputise for the Digital Marketing Manager during periods of absence, supporting the coordination and prioritisation of the marketing team's workload and ensuring continuity of departmental operations.
· Support the Digital Marketing Manager with the day-to-day operational management and coordination of the marketing department, ensuring effective planning, prioritisation and delivery of departmental activity.
· Work collaboratively with the Digital Marketing Manager to deliver integrated marketing campaigns across offline and digital channels.
· In consultation with the Director of Admissions and Marketing, contribute to the development and implementation of the annual marketing plan through market research, competitor analysis and campaign evaluation.
· Develop, manage and maintain the marketing communications planner, ensuring all offline marketing activity is coordinated, scheduled and delivered in line with agreed priorities.
· Monitor, analyse and evaluate offline campaign performance against agreed KPIs using relevant marketing data and insights, making recommendations to optimise future activity.
· Support the preparation and production of marketing reports, including reports for Governors and other internal stakeholders.
· Lead on specific marketing campaigns from initial concept and briefing through to delivery, evaluation and continuous improvement.
· Work collaboratively with departments across the school, including Admissions, Development, Experience, Archives & Museum and The Foundation, to deliver effective marketing solutions.
· Coordinate the day-to-day delivery of campaign activity undertaken by the Offline Marketing Officer, Graphic Designer and external agencies, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are achieved.
· Manage the offline marketing budget, monitoring expenditure and ensuring value for money across all campaign activity.
· Lead the planning and delivery of press relations and editorial activity, overseeing the development and dissemination of content across appropriate marketing and communication channels in line with campaign objectives.
· Coordinate relationships with advertising agencies, media buyers, printers and other external suppliers to ensure the successful delivery of marketing projects.
· Manage sponsorship opportunities, targeted door drops and other offline marketing initiatives.
· Coordinate visits from external organisations, publications and media partners, including The Good Schools Guide, Tatler Schools Guide and other relevant organisations.
· Approve and oversee the production of offline marketing collateral, advertisements and campaign materials, ensuring all content is accurate, on brand and reflects Stonyhurst's tone of voice.
· Brief and oversee the development of creative assets required to support offline marketing campaigns, working collaboratively with the Graphic Designer, Digital Marketing Assistant and external suppliers where appropriate.
· Oversee the sourcing and production of branded merchandise to support marketing campaigns, events and the wider school.
· Act as a guardian of the Stonyhurst brand, ensuring consistency of tone of voice and visual identity across all offline marketing activity.
· Respond to internal and external marketing enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
· Keep up to date with marketing best practice, emerging trends and relevant legislation.
· Work flexibly within a small and collaborative marketing team, supporting colleagues where required.
· Undertake any other duties commensurate with the level and responsibilities of the post.
