Warehouse Operative/Reach Truck Forklift Driver
We are looking for passionate, energetic and dedicated Warehouse Operatives/Reach Truck Forklift Drivers, who can provide our customers with the very best in delivering goods and customer service.
This is a permanent full-time role working 5 out of 7 days on a rota.
About You:
- It is essential that you have a valid reach truck forklift licence.
- It would be preferable if you also have a counterbalance truck licence.
- You will be a confident and effective communicator.
- Enthusiasm to drive your own performance and personally succeed is essential.
- Strong self-motivation skills.
- Confident & Likeable Personality.
- Committed to personal development and adapting quickly to new learning and change.
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to understand the customers’ needs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Load and unload deliveries to correct racking area.
- Occasionally supports delivery driver to deliver products to customers’ addresses.
- Picking orders ready for delivery.
- Reach truck forklift driving.
- Manual Handling.
- Able to manage basic vehicle checks/maintenance.
- Able to perform stock checks and maintain accurate inventory and report anomalies to the Line Manager.
- Perform all functions within the scope of the warehouse operations for the fulfilment of customer orders.
- Ensures warehouse remains clean & tidy, good housekeeping including hygiene standards are always maintained.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations within the warehouse operation.
What we offer:
- Salary - £12.95 per hour provided you hold a valid and up to date Reach Truck Licence.
- Hours of work 42.5 hours per week (plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch break).
