We are a very busy family with four children aged 16,14, 12 and 7. We need a mothers help/nanny to help us 2 afternoons a week with after school activities etc as there are more clubs than there are adults in the family!
Typically the role will involve the collection of one of the children from school and taking them to their after school club or being at home with the children that don't have activites and making dinner, organizing them into correct clothing for basketball or football for example. Help with home work and spellings. There will be nanny family jobs also like putting washing away, tidying the playroom etc.
There is usually a lot of driving done everyday so a car is essential. Mileage is paid at 45p per mile.
Candidates must have experience of working with children. Candidates must be organised and efficient and hard working. The role can be lots of fun and very rewarding but there's always something to do!
This is a term time only role. Hours to be agreed and can be flexible for the right person but would ideally start from around 4pm until 7 or 8pm two days a week with a preference for Tuesday and Wednesday
The role would really suit someone who works in school/preschool or is on the childcare/teacher training courses.
Candidates must be able to prepare basic family meals, drive confidently and be able to iron, use a dishwasher and washing machine for the children’s clothes.
Start date of 1st of September.
