We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our childcare team. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children's development across all areas of learning.
- Support children's emotional well-being, ensuring they feel safe, secure, and valued within the nursery environment.
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress, providing feedback to parents and colleagues to support individualised learning plans.
- Supervise children during playtime, mealtimes, and outings, maintaining a safe and stimulating environment at all times.
- Lead and mentor junior staff members, fostering a positive team atmosphere through effective management and leadership skills.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the nursery.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behaviour, and any concerns that may arise.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of nursery policies and procedures in line with early childhood education standards.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years experience working in an early years setting. (Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification for minimum 1 year)
- Experience supporting children's learning and development in line with the EYFS Framework.
- Experience maintaining safeguarding, health and safety and welfare standards.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
