The Victoria & Commercial is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join our busy kitchen team. If you're passionate about producing great food, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and are looking to develop your career in a supportive kitchen, we'd love to hear from you.
As Chef de Partie, you'll take responsibility for your own section, ensuring every dish is prepared to the highest standard while working closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to deliver an outstanding dining experience.
What You'll Be Doing
- Running your own section during preparation and service.
- Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes using fresh ingredients.
- Maintaining excellent food presentation and consistency.
- Supporting the wider kitchen team during busy services.
- Assisting with stock rotation, ordering, and waste reduction.
- Ensuring all food hygiene, health & safety, and HACCP standards are maintained.
- Helping to train and support junior chefs and kitchen assistants where required.
- Contributing ideas for seasonal specials and menu development.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Commis/Demi Chef ready for the next step.
- A genuine passion for cooking and hospitality.
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
