We are looking for a Mechanical Assembly Worker whose role will be to assemble mechanical and electrical components, carry out pipework and flange fitting, and perform equipment testing (hydraulic, vacuum, and functional) while ensuring full compliance with safety and quality procedures.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assembly of electrical / mechanical products manufactured by the company.
Including :
- Metal and plastic pipe work assembly
-Bolting flanges and mechanical fittings
-Fitting and wiring of basic mid-sized ozone products.
- Testing of equipment, including documentation of results and findings.
Including:
- Hydraulic Pressure Testing
- Vacuum testing
- Basic Function testing
- Complete production check lists and timesheets.
- Checking and packing of goods for despatch.
- Adhere to company health and safety policies and practices.
- Adhere to company quality control processes and procedures.

Skills and experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar assembly role.
- Previous experience in mechanical pipework assembly and basic wiring.
- Skills in PVC solvent welding would be an advantage.
- A valid counter-balanced forklift license would be an advantage
Start date: as soon as possible
Contract: 38.5 hours per week
Pay: £28,000.00 per year
