Olive Tree Bude has an exciting opportunity for Chef to join our team!
As a key team player with excellent organisational and communication skills, you will assist the team of chefs in the smooth running of the kitchen. This is a great opportunity for a Chef who enjoys creativity and enjoys working with fresh, local and seasonal produce. Working in a friendly and team-oriented work place, The candidate must be able to:
- Work in a busy kitchen in all of the sections - Assist with the preparation of all food, considering specific needs and special diet requirements.
- Help create exciting menu options including specials which are changed daily
- Have attention to detail in preparing food of the highest quality
- Apply stock rotation to ensure waste is minimised
- Work under pressure and deal calmly with unexpected situations
- Continually learn and develop within the kitchen
- Provide support to other kitchen employees
- Ensure high levels of hygiene are maintained and full compliance with both Hygiene and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to.
- Pay will be discussed on level of experience
The ideal candidate would have some previous experience working in a kitchen, but training can be provided to the right candidate.
