About the Role
As a Business Development Intern, you will support Freesia’s leadership team to grow and strengthen partnerships, develop new offerings, and support service expansion. You will work closely with business developers and senior clinicians to translate ideas into strategy.
What You Will Be Doing
- Researching new markets, services, and partnership opportunities
- Helping with presentations, pitch decks, and funding documents
- Supporting events, meetings, and outreach initiatives
- Tracking progress of partnership development
What You Will Learn
- Business development techniques in a healthcare setting
- How mental health services are launched and scaled
- Collaborating with experienced clinicians and business advisors
- Real-time project work and strategy support
- Insight into private mental healthcare models
Minimum Requirements
- Completed a degree or have equivalent experience
- Organised, reliable, and able to work independently
- Good writing and clear communication
- Interested in healthcare, strategy, or innovation
- Able to use Google Docs or Microsoft Office tools
Preferred but Not Required
- Experience in business, health, or research environments
- Comfort with creating presentations or doing outreach
- Understanding of mental health or non-profit services
