Main Purpose of Role:
To support the finance teams within the Residential sector business units (Novoferm UK and The Garage Door Company) with month end responsibilities, internal reporting and external audit.
Scope of the role:
The Assistant Accountant would be a support for the Finance team, acting as a business partner to other departments, supporting project work as well as the day to day running of the business
Key Responsibilities:
- Support finance period end including accruals and prepayments
- support with daily tasks such as cashflow forecast, Capex reconciliation
- Daily internal reporting for both Residential businesses
- Complete National Statistics surveys and returns
- Support external audit with prompt reply to queries submitted
- Performing bank reconciliations for all bank accounts
- Upload manual payments to the bank
- Perform stock count for the branches on a monthly basis
- Support with any ad-hoc requests
