Make a Difference While Others Sleep
Hafan Gwydir is an Extra Care Housing Scheme that supports people aged 60 and over to live independently in their own homes, with the assistance of tailored domiciliary care and support services.
We are looking for a caring, motivated, and confident individual to join our team as a Night Support Worker.
About the Role
As a Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing reassurance, support, and assistance to tenants during the night. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering scheduled domiciliary care and support calls to assist individuals with their evening and morning routines.
- Responding promptly to emergency calls through the scheme’s call system.
- Providing practical support and reassurance to tenants when required.
- Responding appropriately to building-related issues and escalating concerns when necessary.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring that all support is delivered in a person-centred and professional manner.
This is a lone-working position, therefore applicants must be able to work independently, remain calm under pressure, and make sound decisions when required.
Working Hours
- Shift pattern: 4 nights on / 4 nights off
- Hours: 10:00pm – 7:45am
- Average weekly hours: 34 hours
- Enhanced rates of pay are provided for unsocial hours working.

Essential Requirement
An Enhanced DBS check is required for this post.
