Lead Generation Assistant - Manchester & Surrounding Areas (Fully Remote)

We are seeking a motivated and professional Lead Generation Assistant to support the continued growth of our healthcare staffing agency across Manchester and the surrounding areas. This is a fully remote position offering flexibility to work around other commitments, with moderate travel required for meetings, networking, and business development activities.
About the Role
You will play a key role in introducing MatchOptions' services to prospective healthcare clients, including care homes, nursing homes, supported living services, and other health and social care providers.
Using a combination of telephone prospecting, email outreach, networking, and online research, you will identify opportunities, develop relationships with decision makers, and arrange appointments for our management team.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls to care homes, supported living providers, and other healthcare organisations.
- Introduce MatchOptions' staffing and care services to prospective new clients.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities.
- Generate and nurture a pipeline of potential healthcare clients.
- Book appointments and introductory meetings for senior management.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers including Registered Managers, Operations Managers, and Directors.
- Follow up on enquiries, marketing campaigns, and previous communications.
- Maintain accurate records of all activity within company systems.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and emerging healthcare providers.
- Attend occasional networking events, exhibitions, and client meetings across Manchester and surrounding areas.
- Work towards agreed activity targets and lead generation objectives.

What We Offer
- Fully remote working.
- Flexible hours within core business hours (09:00 – 17:00, Tuesday to Friday).
- Initially 4 hours/day over 3 days (12 hours per week), with the possibility of increasing in line with business growth and demand.

Essential Requirements
- Excellent communication skills.
- Confident and professional telephone manner.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging with management.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel and internet-based systems.
- Willingness to travel throughout Manchester and surrounding areas.
- Eligible to work in the UK – No sponsorship offered.
- Full UK Driving License and access to own vehicle
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience within healthcare recruitment, care services, healthcare staffing, telesales, business development, customer service, or lead generation.
- Knowledge of the health and social care sector.
- Experience speaking with care homes, supported living providers, or NHS-related services.
