Summer Seasonal Retail Assistant (Perfect for University Students) – Aug/Sept

We are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking Seasonal Retail Sales Assistants to join our friendly team during our busiest time of year.
Victoria 2 Schoolwear is a long-established, family-run school uniform shop located just a few minutes from Walthamstow Central Station. Every summer we help thousands of families prepare for the new school year, so we are looking for reliable team members who enjoy working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
This temporary role is ideal for people who are available throughout August and September and are looking to gain valuable retail and customer service experience.
The role will include:
· Serving and assisting customers
· Helping families find the correct school uniform items and sizes
· Replenishing stock and keeping the shop organised
· Helping with deliveries, labelling, packing and general shop duties
· Working as part of a busy and supportive team
We are looking for someone who is:
· Hardworking, reliable and punctual
· A quick learner with a positive attitude
· Confident speaking with customers
· Able to work well under pressure in a very busy environment
· Energetic and willing to get stuck in
· A good team player
Previous retail experience is an advantage and you must be eager to learn and able to work at a fast pace.
Important: Applicants must be available to work throughout August and September. Due to this being our peak trading period, we require candidates who are not planning holidays or time off during these two months.
