Duties
- Open and close the stall each trading day, including setup, styling, and pack down to brand standard
- Welcome and engage market visitors, offering tastings and explaining the product range with warmth and confidence
- Drive daily sales and build repeat custom among regular market visitors
- Process transactions accurately using the card reader and cash float, and reconcile takings at the end of each shift
- Manage stock levels, storage, and replenishment, ordering ahead where needed to avoid running out during trading hours
- Maintain the stall, packaging, and display to a consistently high, giftable standard
- Represent the Date Sultan brand professionally at all times, including tone, appearance, and product knowledge
- Take full ownership of stall presentation as a standing location, keeping layout, display, and upkeep consistently excellent
- Report weekly sales figures, stock needs, and any market issues.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail, market stalls, or hospitality sales is preferred
- Outgoing, warm, and confident when approaching and speaking with customers
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of a standing stall
- Comfortable handling cash and card transactions accurately
- Reliable and punctual, able to commit to the same four days each week on an ongoing basis
- Able to stand for extended periods and assist with light lifting during setup and pack down
- A genuine interest in premium food, gifting, and hospitality is a strong advantage
SHIFT PATTERN
Shifts are allocated per confirmed pop up event and will be communicated ahead of each month. Flexibility across weekends and evenings during the Christmas trading period is essential.
Pay: £25,420.00-£45,984.77 per year
