Overview
We are seeking motivated Pharmacy Students.
This role offers valuable hands-on experience within a professional pharmacy environment, providing an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in pharmaceutical practice. The position is ideal for students studying pharmacy at university.
This job is 9:00am till 1:00pm every saturday. With the possibility of ovetime during non-academic semesters.
Duties
- Assist licensed pharmacists with dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient queries and offering guidance on over-the-counter products
- Support inventory management, including stock organisation and replenishment
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information in accordance with data protection regulations
- Participate in pharmacy administrative tasks such as data entry and filing
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and confidentiality within the pharmacy environment
Experience
- Currently enrolled in a recognised pharmacy degree programme
- Prior experience in customer service roles is advantageous but not essential
- Proficiency in IT systems, including basic knowledge of pharmacy management software and Microsoft Office suite
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with patients and colleagues
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a VERY fast-paced environment
- Organised, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality
