Bank Radiology/Healthcare Assistant
Location: Doncaster Royal Infirmary and Bassetlaw General Hospital

Managed Healthcare Services Limited is looking for a caring, friendly, and reliable Healthcare/Radiology Assistant to work with at two of our NHS client locations, the Doncaster Royal Infirmary and Bassetlaw General Hospital .
This is a varied role where you'll be supporting patients during their diagnostic imaging and other clinical appointments. You'll be the friendly face that welcomes patients, helps them feel at ease, and supports our clinical team in delivering exceptional care. Whether you already have experience in healthcare or are looking to take your first step into the private and NHS healthcare sectors, we'd love to hear from you. Full training is available for the right candidate.
What you'll be doing
- Welcoming NHS and patients to the department
- Managing patient queries regarding their MRI scans or other procedures
- Providing excellent customer service throughout each patient's visit
- Chaperoning patients during MRI and other imaging or clinical examinations/investigations
- Supporting patients with paperwork and practical assistance where needed
- Assisting the imaging and clinical team with administrative and IT tasks
- Helping to ensure the department runs safely, efficiently, and to a high standard

Essential
- Right to work in the UK
- Ability to travel to Doncaster Royal Infirmary / Bassetlaw General Hospital
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one if required)
- Two satisfactory professional references
- Flexible availability to work approximately 2–4 shifts per week
Desirable
- Previous healthcare or NHS experience
- Radiology Department Assistant (RDA) experience
- Knowledge of healthcare systems and processes
Working Hours
This is a bank position, offering flexibility while requiring availability to support service needs.
- Variable shifts between 07:30am and 8:00pm
- Monday to Sunday
- Shifts range from short shifts 8.5 hours to up to 12.5 hours
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- Applicants should be available to work approximately 2–4 shifts per week and be flexible and reliable with their availability
