We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Carpenter/Multi Trader to join our team and contribute to a wide range of construction, maintenance, and refurbishment projects. Responsibilities
- Perform carpentry tasks including framing, joinery, roofing, and general woodwork with precision and attention to detail
- Fabricate and assemble structures or components using hand tools and power tools to meet project specifications
- Conduct plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance as required for various projects
- Execute masonry work such as bricklaying, wall repairs, and concrete finishing with accuracy
- Carry out construction painting to prepare surfaces and ensure a professional finish
- Assist with electrical tasks where applicable, including basic wiring or fixture installation under supervision
- Handle heavy lifting safely to transport materials and equipment around the site
- Support roofing projects through installation, repairs, or maintenance activities
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks while adhering to safety protocols
Skills
- Proficiency in fabrication, assembly, and the use of hand tools and power tools for various trades
- Strong knowledge of carpentry principles, joinery techniques, roofing systems, masonry work, plumbing, and electrical experience
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomics
- Experience in construction painting to deliver polished finishes on diverse surfaces
- Familiarity with basic electrical work and plumbing installations or repairs
- Knowledge of safety standards relevant to construction sites and ability to follow safety procedures diligently
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting on-site challenges
