Job Overview
We are seeking energetic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team! In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests while expertly serving drinks and food and ensuring a memorable experience. We are looking for someone to work Wednesday and Friday evenings 7-11 and Sundays 10-7.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, following proper recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety regulations
- Manage cash transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems, including handling payments and giving correct change
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible serving practices and adherence to legal alcohol service guidelines
- Restock bar supplies as needed, including glassware, garnishes, and beverages, to ensure smooth operation
- Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service during busy periods while maintaining a lively atmosphere
- Light cleaning at start of shift to set up pub
Experience
- Previous experience working in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash register operations
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
