The Opportunity

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN

Help children access lessons and learning activities

Support pupils with routines, transitions, and emotional regulation

Encourage independence, confidence, and positive social interaction
-
Use a patient and nurturing approach to support behaviour and engagement

Assist teachers with adapting resources and classroom tasks

Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and other school staff

Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
What We Need From You
To be considered for this SEN Teaching Assistant position, you must:

Have experience working with SEN children

Have a Child and Adult DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one

Be caring, reliable, patient, and resilient

Be confident supporting children with additional needs

Have strong communication and teamwork skills
