Directorate
The Directorate of People, Culture & Wellbeing is seeking an experienced Temporary Staffing Coordinator to play a key role in supporting the delivery of the temporary staffing service within the People Operations team.
What you will be doing:
Coordinate and deliver the University's end-to-end recruitment service, ensuring a high-quality, compliant, and customer-focused experience from attraction through to onboarding.
Provide day-to-day operational supervision, guidance, and support to the Resourcing Administrators.
Ensure compliance with employment legislation, UKVI requirements, safeguarding obligations, and equality, diversity, and inclusion principles throughout the temporary staffing process.
Provide specialist advice and guidance to managers on temporary staffing processes, policies, and best practice.
Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the temporary staffing processes, systems, and ways of working.
Promote the University as an employer of choice by supporting recruitment campaigns, executive recruitment activity, job fairs, and employer branding initiatives.
Work collaboratively across People Operations, providing support and cross-cover for the Resourcing Coordinator during periods of annual leave, absence, peak workload, or business need.
Qualifications/ experience:
Significant experience working within an HR, recruitment, resourcing or temporary staffing environment
Experience coordinating temporary staffing or workforce deployment processes.
Experience undertaking Right to Work checks and applying UKVI compliance requirements.
Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent experience.
