DRW Accountancy Services is a small business in Newcastle Upon Tyne. We are professional, customer-centric and inclusive.
We are looking for an enthustiastic individual, eager to learn and progress, with a good understanding of accountancy. The candidate does not necessarily need experience, however knowledge of accountancy, double entry bookkeeping or qualifications are a must.
The role is for a 4-5 day working week. exact hours to be confirmed.
We are a small local firm who prepare and submit accounts and tax returns for both sole traders and small Limited companies.
The successful canditate would be join our small team of accountants in a busy friendly office.
Main Responsibilities:
- Summarise and analyse financial data.
- Prepare lead schedules, e.g. bank reconciliations, debtors and creditors control accounts.
- Preparation of financial statements.
- Assist clients with HMRC and Companies House deadlines.
We would in time expect the canditate to be able to discuss accounts and tax positions with clients in face to face meetings.
