Kitchen Assistant - 29 Hours Per Week, Days/Weekends - Care Home with Nursing - Family Run Home - Friendly Team to work with!
Domestic assistant required for friendly team within nursing home in the Broadstone area, Poole. 29 Hours per week- Days/Weekend/Long day hours available. Mandatory training required.
Main Duties
- To ensure duties are performed in a competent manner.
- To maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the home to help prevent infection.
- To ensure all equipment is kept clean.
- To work with the team to ensure the efficient operation of the home.
We offer full induction and training, 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays, competitive hourly rate plus enhancements and 'Auto-Enrolment Work Place Pension' scheme. This post is subject to DBS clearance.
We are a family run nursing home in Broadstone, Poole with an Outstanding Care Quality Commission rating and a wonderful reputation for care in the local community. We have been providing all aspects of nursing care in Poole for over 40 years and now we are recruiting staff for our purpose built home. The Home is run by our Manager, Gavin Kingham, and a team of dedicated staff with a number of relevant qualifications. The home has also gained Gold Standards Framework accreditation (GSF), 'Platinum' status, for implementing improved coordination and organisation to deliver better outcomes in line with residents needs and preferences for their end of life care.
