Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh fish, chips, and other menu items following food safety and quality standards
- Serve customers efficiently at the counter or drive-thru with a positive attitude
- Manage cash register operations, handle transactions accurately, and give correct change
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining area, and kitchen equipment throughout your shift
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Follow food safety regulations diligently to ensure hygiene and proper storage of ingredients
- Assist with stock replenishment, inventory checks, and organizing supplies for smooth operations
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Familiarity with food safety standards and kitchen procedures is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Ability to work as part of a team while also managing individual responsibilities
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Experience in serving customers with friendliness and professionalism enhances your fit for this role
- Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus for those interested in developing their cooking skills
