Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves programming CNC sheet metal machinery using Radan CAD-CAM software, creating flat pattern fold drawings, and working with 2D and 3D CAD models. The successful candidate will support multiple facilities, ensuring seamless fabrication and modification processes while liaising closely with production teams. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in CAD/CAM programming and CNC machinery.
Responsibilities
- Develop and produce detailed CAD drawings using Radan software.
- Create 3D models and visualisations using tools like Radan.
- Create flat pattern fold drawings for press brake operators.
- Communicate with production teams to provide updates and support fabrication departments.

- Create press brake programs using our offline software.
- Create production packs using our ERP system.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, Revit, SolidWorks, and MicroStation.
- Strong understanding of technical drawing standards and practices.
- Experience in creating schematics and detailed designs for various applications.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in all work produced.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
