About Us
At Independence Mobility and Medical Hire, our mission is simple — to improve people's lives through specialist mobility and healthcare equipment.
Independence Mobility focuses on equipment sales and clinical support, helping individuals and professionals find the right long-term solutions. Medical Hire provides short-term equipment hire, supporting people who need equipment quickly, often at short notice.
We work with private clients, healthcare professionals, local authorities, charities and production companies. Our work is hands-on, fast-moving, and makes a genuine difference to the people we support.
The Role
We're looking for an experienced Salesforce Administrator to take ownership of our Salesforce org and become the go-to person for our team.
We went live on Salesforce in July and, like most growing businesses, we know there's plenty we can do to make the system work harder for us. You'll manage day-to-day admin, iron out issues, and help us get more value from the platform — from dashboards and automations to supporting our Marketing and Field Service teams.
This is a part-time role (16 hours/week), based in our Leeds office. Days can be flexible to suit the right candidate.
Typical Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain our Salesforce org day-to-day, troubleshooting issues as they arise
- Configure and improve objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and flows
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards for different teams
- Support our Marketing team with Marketing Cloud automations
- Support our Field Service team, including ensuring engineers and delivery staff know where and how to log information and photos
- Write and maintain clear on-screen guidance/descriptions for non-technical users
- Be the first point of contact for Salesforce queries across the business (roughly 17 regular users)
- Support our integration with Opero (quotes, orders, delivery notes, invoices) and our link to Xero
- Manage user licences and access as the team grows
- Maintain documentation and contribute to ongoing improvements
Essential Attributes
- Salesforce Administrator certified
- Minimum 2 years' hands-on experience administering Salesforce in a live, multi-department environment
- Comfortable working across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Field Service
- Confident building flows, automations, reports and dashboards
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- A clear communicator, comfortable explaining things simply to non-technical colleagues
- Self-sufficient and comfortable working independently as the sole Salesforce specialist on-site
Bonus Points
- Experience with Opero, Xero, or similar integrations
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Marketing Cloud, or Field Service certifications
- Experience in a small/medium business environment
