This restaurant has been open for around a year now and they can do no wrong! They've been getting rave reviews and so much hype that they're been struggling to keep up with their own success. With a new HC on board with an excellent background in some fantastic businesses they are now looking for a strong senior sous that will grow with them. The business has plans for new sites so the right person could grow into a future HC with them as the business evolves.
The operation is very multi-faceted and split over a few floors. The food here celebrates the best of British and features some super classic dishes on the ground floor menu. The second floor is a bit more vibe-ey with a Maitre' D, some of the best martinis in town and food inspired by New York's best bistros.
The owners have been doing this for a long time and are super ambitious, whilst at the same time genuinely wanting to do the best they can for their teams. The HC is so lovely and their approach is all about coaching and mentoring. They're super experienced so have a lot to teach and will do it in a really inspiring way. This is a big job as you'll be running the whole business when the HC is away so you'll be an experienced sous, super organised and comfortable with volume. This would really suit someone that wants to fast-track their development and is hungry to grow in their career.
