Job requirements of a Hanger:
We are looking for a hanger to join our established team here at Cranswick Country Foods Fresh Poultry in Eye, Suffolk. You will be responsible for working as part of a small team. Placing chickens onto shackles, that rotate around a conveyor ready for the next stage of the process
Shift Pattern – 4 days a week on a 3 week rotating shift pattern 3:45-14:15
Duties
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment in a timely manner
· Working closely with your team to ensure all shackles are filled
· This is a labour-intensive role and physically demanding as you will be standing for long periods of time
. To support with the general production of our chicken products, duties will include but are not limited to; offal packing, grading of organs and more when off rotation as a hanger.
What you will need:
· Be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative
· Enjoy working to targets in a fast paced environment
· Possess high standards of work
· Have a basic level of both written and verbal English
· Enjoy working as part of a team
· Ideally have experience of working within the food production industry, however this is not necessary as full training will be provided
Pay and benefits:
· Rate of Pay - £17.50 per hour (Rate inclusive of a £1 per hour weekly attendance bonus and efficiency, if met)
