We're looking for an experienced Programme Manager to lead the successful delivery of a high-profile operational programme. Reporting to the Head of Assurance, you'll provide programme leadership, governance, and oversight to ensure delivery is on time, within budget, and meets agreed quality standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident programme professional who can quickly establish control of a complex project, manage multiple workstreams, and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, governance and delivery of a major operational programme.
- Develop and maintain programme plans, milestones, dependencies and delivery schedules.
- Monitor risks, issues and change, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate multiple workstreams to ensure successful programme delivery.
- Provide high-quality reporting, dashboards and recommendations to senior leaders and governance groups.
- Monitor budgets, resources and programme performance, escalating issues where appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with organisational governance, assurance frameworks and quality standards, including ISO 9001 and ISO 27001.
- Support programme reviews, lessons learned and continuous improvement activities.
About You
You'll be an experienced Programme/Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering complex programmes or large-scale projects within agreed timescales and budgets. You'll be highly organised, commercially aware and comfortable working in a governance-focused environment.
You'll also bring:
- Strong programme and project management expertise.
- Excellent planning, organisational and analytical skills.
- Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies and change throughout the project lifecycle.
- Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging senior leaders and boards.
- The ability to produce clear, insightful reports and management information.
- Experience working within regulated, assurance or governance-led organisations.
- Confidence to step into an existing programme, quickly establish control and drive delivery with minimal handover.

The role is based from Basingstoke.
