Practice Manager – Private Dental Practice

The Opportunity
This role is ideal for an experienced Practice Manager who is highly organised, approachable, and genuinely enjoys working with people.
You will be the glue that holds the practice together, supporting clinicians, coordinating patient-facing teams, and ensuring patients receive an exceptional experience from the moment they walk through the door.
We're looking for someone who is easy to work with, leads by example, communicates effectively, and creates a positive culture where everyone feels valued and supported.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the practice
- Lead, motivate and support reception, administration and patient-facing teams
- Act as the key link between clinicians, support staff and patients
- Ensure an exceptional patient journey and high levels of patient satisfaction
- Manage rotas, staffing levels and team performance
- Support recruitment, onboarding and staff development
- Monitor and improve operational efficiency across the practice
- Ensure compliance with CQC, GDPR and relevant healthcare regulations
- Handle patient feedback and resolve concerns professionally and empathetically
- Support practice growth initiatives and implementation of new processes
- Monitor KPIs and contribute to achieving practice objectives
What We're Looking ForEssential
- Previous experience as a Practice Manager, Dental Practice Manager or Healthcare Practice Manager
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Experience managing teams in a patient-focused environment
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Commercial awareness alongside a patient-first mindset
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
Desirable
- Experience within private dentistry
- Knowledge of dental software systems
- Understanding of CQC compliance and dental regulations
- Experience supporting practice growth and service development
