Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ foot health, including visual inspections and functional evaluations
- Diagnose common foot conditions such as bunions, corns, calluses, fungal infections, and biomechanical issues
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, including advice on footwear, orthotics, and hygiene practices
- Perform routine podiatric procedures such as nail trimming, callus removal, and wound care with precision and care
- Educate patients on foot health maintenance, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications through clear communication and demonstrations
- Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and follow-up treatments
Requirements
- Qualified Foot Health Practitioner or Podiatrist with relevant certification or licensure in your region
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate and motivate patients of diverse backgrounds
- Proficiency in English for clear documentation and patient interaction
- Basic IT skills to manage electronic health records and scheduling systems efficiently
- Experience or interest in teaching or mentoring colleagues on foot health best practices
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating seamlessly within a team environment
