Duties
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and mobility support
- Develop and follow personalized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members
- Supervise and support clients to promote their independence while ensuring safety at all times
- Drive clients to appointments, errands, or social activities using your own vehicle or company vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, including progress notes and any changes in condition
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery
- Monitor client well-being regularly, reporting any concerns or incidents promptly
Qualifications
- Valid driving license with reliable access to a vehicle for client transportation
- Previous experience working in care homes or providing senior care is highly desirable
- Supervising experience or leadership skills to oversee client activities and assist other team members when needed
- Knowledge of creating and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs
- Excellent communication skills for building trusting relationships with clients and their families
- Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate documentation and updating electronic records
- Compassionate attitude with a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism
