Duties will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- To carry out all welding operations and fabricate as required
- Linishing and grinding of materials prior to leaving for customer deliveries
- Fabricating from drawings provided
- Working on stainless steel products/sheet metal
- To liaise with the Designer and Production Manager to ensure that work carried out is accurate
- Must be able to weld thin gauge material ranging from 1.2mm to 10mm
- Working at customer sites to complete necessary jobs on occasion including, installations and repairs.
- Supporting other Employees as required and if you are safe/trained to do so
- Driving Company Vehicles to and from Customers/Suppliers
- Maintaining a safe and tidy workplace and reporting any faults/hazards, in accordance with Company Health and Safety requirements
- Other duties as required
- To undertake, willingly, any training the Company feels it necessary you have to ensure your own and others’ safety at work
- Food industry/conveyor knowledge would be to an advantage but not essential as experience will be gained over time
Candidate will require:
Previous experience of TIG Fabrication/Welding in Stainless Steel
Ability to work from drawings
Have experience in thin gauge materials
Be able to measure and cut materials accurately
Work as part of a team
Possess excellent communication skills
Full UK Driving Licence
Mechanical skills preferred (i.e. Conveyor/Machinery)
Clean working conditions

Working Hours:
Monday - Thursday 07.00 - 16.00
Friday 07.00 - 13.00
Evenings/Weekends - Overtime paid at premium rates (1.33/1.5/2.0)
