Property Consultant – Full or Part Time
Rosewick Sales & Lettings | Collingham
Full Time: £31,000–£34,000 per annum, depending on experience
Part Time: c. £19,100 per annum
We're looking for experienced, friendly and highly organised Property Consultants to join our growing team in Collingham – and we're open to finding the right people rather than insisting on one particular working pattern.
We're therefore recruiting for either one full-time position or two part-time positions, depending on the candidates we meet.
Working options
Full Time
Monday to Friday, plus every other Saturday (9am–3pm), with a weekday off in lieu when a Saturday is worked.
Part Time – two positions available
Three days per week, plus one Saturday in four (9am–3pm). We can discuss the specific weekday pattern with the successful candidates.
People are at the heart of what we do at Rosewick. Moving home can be exciting, but it can also be incredibly stressful. A big part of this role is being a safe pair of hands – someone who communicates, understands what people are going through and helps make the process feel as straightforward and pain-free as possible.
What you'll be doing
You'll become a key point of contact for our buyers, vendors, landlords and tenants throughout their relationship with Rosewick.
You'll keep buyers and vendors updated throughout a sale, liaise with solicitors and other agents to keep transactions moving and make sure our clients understand what's happening throughout the process.
You'll register new customers, understand what they need and, where appropriate, connect them with trusted mortgage advisers, surveyors, solicitors and other property professionals who can help them.
You'll also conduct property viewings, provide useful feedback, support our landlords and tenants, carry out property inspections and help coordinate maintenance issues alongside the wider team.
There's administration involved, of course, but fundamentally this is a people role.
Why Rosewick is different
Rosewick is a personal, professional and entrepreneurial business built around a simple principle: treat every client as though they were a close friend or member of your own family.
If it were your closest friend selling their home, what would you tell them? Who would you recommend? What would you want them to know? That's the standard we try to apply to every client.
Our focus is communication, understanding and professionalism. You'll have the freedom to get to know our clients properly, build trusted relationships and use your own experience and judgement.
We want our clients to know who they're dealing with and feel comfortable picking up the phone when they need advice, an update or simply some reassurance.
We're ambitious about growing Rosewick, but we're interested in long-term growth through trust, relationships and reputation. We'd rather do a genuinely good job for someone today and have them recommend us for years to come than chase the quickest result.
Who we're looking for
Ideally, you'll already have experience within estate agency, lettings or residential property and a good understanding of how a property transaction progresses from offer through to completion.
You'll be organised and detailed, but just as importantly you'll be a natural people person – friendly, outgoing, confident on the phone and comfortable talking to people from all walks of life.
We're particularly interested in people who bring experience, maturity and perspective. Someone who knows when a client needs an answer, when they need reassurance and when something simply needs sorting out.
We're looking for someone capable, personable and dependable who enjoys looking after people and takes pride in doing a job properly.
