This role is predominantly Internal sales – issuing quotations and processing customer orders. However, due to the heavily technical nature of the product and its application, much of the role will also include product specification and problem solving via telephone and email.
We have an exciting opportunity in Internal Sales for someone looking to begin their career and join a technical sales team. This role is ideally suited to someone looking to become a Sales Executive in a Technical field.
Using your technical expertise, recent studies and/or previous job knowledge, you will provide high quality technical support to internal and external customers on a range of issues. You will develop your knowledge on a wide range of complex pumping applications with the mentorship of an experienced support team.
You will build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders in order to deliver success and maximise opportunities for the business.
Your role will be diverse, learning each area of the business to become a well-rounded pump professional. With each day presenting a new challenge, you will soon be able to:
· Complete the specification and quotation of pumps for complex applications
· Diagnose and solve customer problems over the phone or via email
Strong planning and analytical skills will help you to hit the ground running, and you will need to be able to think on your feet and take a proactive approach to new challenges. Along with the ability to prioritise your workload and work to deadlines will be essential.
Previous experience in a similar role advantageous but not required, full training will be provided.
All you will need is to have a real passion for learning and developing yourself in order to succeed.
