Quantity Surveyor – Fire Stopping
Working arrangement: Office-based
We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing fire-stopping contractor based in Radcliffe. This is a permanent, office-based position offering the opportunity to support and commercially manage a range of fire-stopping schemes.
Key responsibilities
- Managing the commercial and financial aspects of fire-stopping projects
- Preparing and submitting valuations and payment applications
- Measuring completed works and reviewing project quantities
- Pricing new schemes, variations and additional works
- Managing project accounts from commencement through to final account
- Monitoring project costs, budgets and commercial performance
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors and internal project teams
- Maintaining accurate commercial records and supporting documentation
- Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities
- Assisting with contract administration and resolving account queries
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying or Assistant Quantity Surveying position
- Ideally, experience within fire stopping, passive fire protection or a related construction sector
- A relevant Quantity Surveying qualification is preferred
- Experience preparing valuations, applications and measurements
- Confident pricing works and managing project accounts
- Strong numerical, organisational and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a full-time, office-based position in Radcliffe
Package
- Salary up to £55,000 depending on experience
