Role Overview
We are currently seeking a Female Care Support Worker to join our team in the Barry & Rhoose areas. You will be providing essential care and support to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and quality of life.
(This role is open to female applicants only due to the personal care needs of our clients, in line with the Equality Act 2010.)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care (washing, dressing, toileting) with dignity and respect
- Assist with medication administration (following training and MAR charts)
- Support with meal preparation and hydration
- Assist with mobility and safe moving & handling
- Carry out light household duties (cleaning, laundry, shopping)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Accurately complete care records and reports
- Follow individual care plans and company policies
Requirements
- Female applicants only (due to client care requirements)
- Driving licence and access to a car preferred
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential (full training provided)
- Good communication skills and a caring nature
- Right to work in the UK
- Willingness to undergo DBS check
