Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards by thoroughly washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision, such as chopping ingredients or assembling simple dishes
- Support the kitchen team by ensuring all areas are organized, stocked, and ready for service
- Help with waste disposal and recycling to uphold environmental standards within the kitchen
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times during daily operations
- Support serving staff by providing clean utensils and assisting in setting up dining areas when needed
- Contribute to a positive team environment by staying motivated, proactive, and attentive to kitchen needs
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm to learn is key
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen hygiene practices
