Margaret Howell is a contemporary British clothing designer who has worked successfully in men’s and women’s clothing for over five decades. Today, Margaret Howell clothes are sold worldwide with 12 own shops in Europe, over 100 outlets in Japan and an established online business.
We are now seeking a mid-weight graphic designer with creative talent and a keen eye for detail to help maintain and grow the strong visual language of the brand. Working alongside the Marketing team and Head of Brand Development you will be responsible for designing and realising physical and digital assets for internal and external usage.
As a key member of the Marketing team, you will bring existing skills and technical know-how to help the business meet its financial objectives with compelling creative messaging.

SALARY
From £30,000
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- Design and produce digital and physical assets for POS, store messaging, event invites and advertising
- Design and maintain corporate document templates including packaging, labelling, stationery, business cards and template documents
- Design and produce assets for collaborations and partnerships
- Design and produce content for website and social platforms including web pages and email marketing designs, working closely with internal departments and external agencies to ensure timely delivery
- Assist with preparing presentations for internal and external stakeholders including seasonal staff presentations, collection guides, wholesale packs and annual sustainability report
- Manage all seasonal image assets including campaigns, content shoots, online look imagery
- Manage all existing artwork files and assets
- Ensure brand guidelines are adhered to and evolved
- Creative thinking with a clear understanding of the Margaret Howell brand to bring new ideas and alternative opinions
ROLE REQUIREMENT
ESSENTIAL
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field experience
- Full working knowledge of key design applications including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Figma
- Strong understanding of layout and typography for both print and digital
- Good understanding of Shopify web platform
- Organised, calm headed self-starter with proven ability to manage and deliver multiple projects in a timely manner
- Meticulous attention to detail across design, communication and management of assets
- Good team player with a strong desire to collaborate cross-departmentally
DESIREABLE
- Interest in the wider design and cultural community
- Klaviyo experience
- Ongoing knowledge of developments in CX and online marketing
