Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Telescopic Handler Operator to join our new homes house building team in Leintwardine, Herefordshire.
This role involves operating a Manitou MT 1335 to efficiently move on-site materials, in a safe and organised manner.
Responsibilities
- Operate Manitou safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload goods from lorries, storage areas and scaffolding ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Handle materials carefully, ensuring proper stacking, storage, and organisation.
- Ensure operational safety standards are maintained.
Requirements
- Proven experience and certificates from CPCS or NPORS - Essential
- Assist Site Manager with general site tidiness.
- Strong understanding of materials handling procedures, including load & unload operations.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
- Physical fitness - standing, walking, and lifting.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, able to work with initiative, follow instructions, be reliable and trustworthy.
