We are looking for a talented Part-Time Chef to join our artisan café, which serves a fresh, seasonal, and innovative menu. The Role:
As a Part-Time Chef, you’ll play a key role in delivering our delicious menu while maintaining high kitchen standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled cook looking for a flexible role in an independent café with a great team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook dishes in line with our fresh and innovative menu
- Maintain high food quality and presentation standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Assist in stock control, inventory management, and minimizing waste
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring smooth kitchen operations
- Collaborate with the café team to enhance the customer dining experience
About You:
- Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a café, bistro, or similar setting
- Passion for seasonal, high-quality ingredients and creative dishes
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a small, close-knit team
- Knowledge of food safety standards and a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail
Contract & Pay:
- 16-24 hours per week (Flexible schedule, likely two-three days per week)
- £13-£14.50 per hour, depending on experience
- Day shifts, no late nights
