We are seeking a reliable and skilled Machine Operator to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production while maintaining high-quality standards and a safe working environment. Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate production machinery in line with company procedures
- Monitor machine performance and ensure efficient operation
- Carry out basic maintenance and report any faults or breakdowns
- Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain accurate production records where required
- Follow health & safety procedures at all times
- Keep work areas clean and organised
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work shifts if required
- Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
