Job Description
We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic Student Engagement & Events Assistant to support the delivery of events and initiatives that enhance the student experience at Middlesex University.
Working with colleagues across the University, you will help plan and deliver key events such as Welcome, Induction, and Graduation, as well as careers fairs, employer events, mentoring programmes, and other student engagement activities.
You will also provide administrative and logistical support, coordinate event communications, manage registrations, liaise with stakeholders, and help evaluate the success of events.
You will be educated to A-level standard (or equivalent), with a degree being desirable. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively both independently and as part of a team, experience using Microsoft Office and digital communication tools, including social media, a professional, customer-focused approach and strong attention to detail, a commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, and experience supporting events or using CRM/database systems is desirable but not essential.
