Ignis Group are a Commercial Heating Specialist based in Stoke Prior Bromsgrove. We specialise in the Service, Maintenance and Installation of Commercial Heating and Hot Water systems for our expanding client base across the Midlands.
Due to our continued growth we are looking for a skilled & experienced plumber to join our team.
The Role
Joining our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing both commercial & domestic plumbing systems across a diverse portfolio of sites including Schools, Universities, Care Homes, Medical Centres and Industrial/Commercial buildings. Working to high standard ensuring compliance with UK Water Regulations & H&S standards.
- Installation of pipework (copper, plastic), taps, toilets/sanitaryware, TRV's & radiators and replacement POU water heaters.
- Experienced in legionella remedial works such as TMV servicing, dead leg removal. A knowledge of associated regulations would be an advantage.
- Understanding of schematic drawings and workings of domestic & commercial plumbing systems.
- Reactive & Planned Maintenance supporting our service department with Emergency call outs where required attending to leaks and pipework issues.
- Fault find and diagnose system issues where required.
- Communicate with suppliers to obtain costs for materials.
- Complete detailed job reports, risk assessments via PDA.
- Maintain tools, equipment and company vehicle in a clean and serviceable condition.
The Candidate
- Minimum 3 years experience essential within the plumbing industry.
- Hold the relevant NVQ Qualifications. (Level 2 or 3)
- Have good knowledge and understanding of domestic & commercial plumbing systems and pipework arrangements.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Pass Enhanced DBS Check.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self motivated with a desire to deliver a high standard of work at all times.
As the face of the company you will have good communication and customer service skills. The ability to communicate professionally with customers & colleagues at all times.
