Duties
- Provide attentive overnight support to our residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the night
- Follow personalised care plans tailored to each person's specific needs and routines
- Maintain accurate records of overnight observations, incidents, and care provided in line with organisational procedures
- Support with daily routines such as medication administration and personal hygiene
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and external professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Assist with light domestic tasks related to the environment to promote a safe and welcoming space
Skills
- Experience working with adults in a care home service is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with people, families, and team members
- Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately and adapt as needed for individual's requirements
- Proficiency in using IT systems for record keeping, reporting, and communication purposes
- Compassionate attitude combined with patience and resilience during overnight shifts
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and adult protection policies to ensure a secure environment
Pay: £13.45-£14.20 per hour
